Books and Brains
Personality: At first glance Hermione seems like just another know it all that is always correcting people. Yet in all actuality she is so much more than that. She is very brave and very loyal to friends. She is also a bit of a perfectionist sometimes, always working until she feels she had done all she can. That trait coupled with her brilliance makes her the top of her class and makes her arguable the brightest witch of her time. She will read any book she can get her hand on and because of that she knows almost everything about the magical world. Her favorite subject is Ancient Runes because it is a very knowledgeable subject; she hates Divination because it is so imprecise. She also works tirelessly to make sure both people and creatures are treated fairly. She is very logical and knows almost everything. Hermione is a little insecure despite her intelligence and she is very emotional especially around Ron. She is very afraid that she will fail and she works relentlessly to make that she does not ever fail. She can get very jealous and they way she shows it is by getting very angry. Family: Parents: Edward and Emma Granger: Hermione’s parents who are both muggle dentists. She is pretty close to them both but especially her Dad who she really feels she can connect to. Both of them are completely brilliant like her and she works very hard to impress them in all she does. They are very accepting of her magic and even proud of how gifted she is but they do not approve of her trying to use magic as an easy way out which to them is fixing her teeth rather than getting braces. Siblings: None Husband: Ron Weasley the love of her life. They do fight sometimes but as they got older they did it much less. Children: Rose and Hugo: Her two children who she is immensely proud of. Like her Rose is extremely brilliant. She tries to spend as much time as possible with them. Personal History. Hermione’s parents met when they were both living in London. They found that they had a lot in common and quickly became a couple. After about a year if dating they got engaged. It was a short engagement lasting about three months and they quickly got married in a small ceremony with a few family and friends invited. After a year and a half of marriage they had their first and only child Hermione Jean Granger. Since they were both full time dentist Hermione had to learn to be self-sufficient at an early age. Her parents were by no means neglectful however, they took care of their only daughter well by making sure she had a good education and teaching her good morals. Yet Hermione still felt like an outsider at school because she always had weird things happen to her when she was feeling emotional then at the age of eleven she got a letter telling her that she had been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At first Hogwarts was hard for her, she did get into Gryffindor which made her quite happy. But know one would really talk to her because she was constantly correcting people and seemed like a know it all. That all changed when she became friends with Harry and Ron who saved her from a troll. After becoming friends with them her life became a whole lot more interesting and her first six years never failed to be full of adventure and danger. In her first year her and Ron helped Harry get to the Sorcerers stone. In her second she figures out that the basilisk was the monster in the Chamber of Secrets and before she could tell anyone however she is petrified and is not revived until after Harry saves Ginny from the Chamber. In here third year she uses a time turner so she can take many classes at once and eventually uses it to save Harry’s godfather from the Dementors kiss. Her fourth year she helps Harry with the Triwizard tournament and goes to the Yule Ball with a famous quidditch player Victor Krum making Ron very jealous. It is in her fourth year that Lord Voldemort comes back as well and she sets up Spew (society For the Protection of Elfish Welfare) It’s in her fifth year that she helps set up Dumbledore’s army because there new teacher would not teach them any spells and they end up using the knowledge at the Ministry of Magic when they had to fight Death Eaters. Hermione gets hurt and Bellatrix Lestrange kills Sirius Black, Harry’s godfather. She takes the owls during her fifth year as well. Her sixth year she finally realizes that she really likes Ron after getting jealous of his girlfriend Lavender Brown. In the end of the sixth year the Headmaster Albus Dumbledore dies and Hermione decides she will not be going back to Hogwarts next year, rather her, Harry and Ron will search for the Horcruxes. Hermione spends most of her summer getting ready for the journey Her, Harry, and Ron will do instead of finishing their education. She gets book on Horcruxes and charms her bag so they can fit everything in it. They go into hiding after Bill and Fluers wedding when they find out that the minister had been killed. They go into the ministry to get a Horcrux. A little after that Ron leaves which hurts Hermione a lot it’s not until after they go to Godrics Hollow and Harry almost dies that he comes back and he destroys the Horcrux. Hermione is tortures by Bellatrix Lestrange not long after that. After they escape she impersonate Bella, they get another Horcrux and go to Hogwarts to for the final battle. It is there that she has her first kiss with Ron and she destroys a Horcrux. Harry defeats Voldemort and the following year she goes back to Hogwarts. After graduating Hermione went to work at the Ministry of magic at the Department for the Regulation and control of magical creatures where she helped give house elves and other magical creatures more rights. Later she worked at the Department of Magical Law enforcement where she worked to get rid of pro- pureblood laws. She also married her longtime love Ron Weasley and had two kids Rose and Hugo with him.
